Designing running challenges that people want to finish
Runwago is a Web 3.0 running app for iOS that rewards people for completing challenges. I designed the challenges and settings, and quickly delivered the missing screens.

The client
CleevioX is a Prague product studio that designs and builds blockchain and finance products.
It has shipped more than 50 products for fintechs, institutions and Web 3.0 founders. CleevioX built Runwago for Moon5 Labs. When their designer dropped out in the middle of the project, I stepped in to help the team keep going.
The project
Runwago is a move-to-earn fitness app. It tracks your runs and rewards you with crypto tokens for staying active.
The app combines fitness tracking with blockchain rewards and social features, and it has an anti-cheat system that spots fake activity. The goal was to keep people moving for the long term, even if they had never used blockchain before.
As UI/UX designer, I focused on visualising the different challenges and the settings. I also helped deliver the missing screens in a short time.
The challenge
Most runners don’t care about blockchain. The app had to make tokens, rewards and challenges easy to understand, so people could focus on running.
How I worked
Stepping in after the previous designer meant a very quick onboarding to understand the app.
Then I worked closely with the PM and delivered flows and screens. Where we weren’t sure, I designed 3 options to choose from, so we could move forward fast.
Screens
Settings
This crucial part of any app was missing. Now people can set up everything in one place, from their password to connecting a watch or their crypto wallet.
What the client said
“The outputs were always polished and well thought out; I didn’t have to catch any details.”
